The Emergency Department/Trauma Center provides around-the-clock emergency health care for children with all types of illnesses and injuries. The Emergency Department is the starting point for many of the inpatient admissions to Children’s Hospital. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is verified as a Level 1 pediatric trauma center by the American College of Surgeons.
