The Mendoza College of Business has an exciting opportunity in Chicago for a student services professional to contribute to the success of Notre Dame's Chicago-based graduate business programs.
 
The Assistant Director of MS Student Services helps to design a graduate student experience that is unique to Notre Dame and helps to build a community of Notre Dame graduate business students composed of working professionals who look beyond themselves and the classroom to “Ask more of business”.
 
The Assistant Director of Student Services has primary responsibility for providing student services for the Chicago Master of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs. This role is the main point of contact for students enrolled in these two programs and counsels admitted students, monitors student academic performance, and communicates expectations and program requirements.
 
Advises, supports and consults with Academic Program Directors on issues and planning to ensure alignment.
 
Originates all student-related communications, plans and manages events/experiences from matriculation through graduation.
 
Builds and strengthens community within the cohort working closely with operations staff and Senior Administration to optimize the student experience beginning with the orientation immersion, continuing through biweekly class sessions on the Chicago Campus, during immersion weeks on the main campus, and concluding with graduation in May.
 
The Assistant Director will also assist with recruiting new students and works very closely with the operations and classrooms coordinators to plan and execute campus immersions and Chicago residency weekends.
 
This position is located in Chicago and will have frequent travel to Notre Dame's main campus in South Bend, IN. There are 6 week long immersion trips required of this role during the year (3 per MS program), and attendance at Commencement activities in May.
 
The schedule for this position is Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Occasional weekday evenings will be required for special events.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree (4 years) or advanced certification beyond Bachelor’s.
2-3 years previous student counseling experience in higher education, Microsoft Suite proficiency, CRM experience and database query proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree Preferred
