Meter Reader positions - Part Time

The United City of Yorkville Public Works Department is seeking candidates to fill part time Meter Reader positions.
Meter reading usually takes the first two weeks of February, April, June, August, October, and December. This position often requires extensive physical endurance and working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
A valid Driver's License is required. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of similar work experience are required. Excellent customer service skills a plus. Knowledge of Yorkville is preferred, but not required. All hires must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Hourly wage is $10.00 per hour.
