Allendale Association, a Child Welfare, Mental Health and Special Education facility, has full-time

 

Special Education Teachers

for our Educational Services Program. Positions are currently available at our programs located in Woodstock & Lake Villa, IL.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education with an LBS I
  • or LBS II teaching certification (Type 10)
  • Per DCFS regulations, must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

Foster Care Case Specialist

to manage all aspects of cases in Foster Care. Works with the court system, families, funding resources, schools, and other community resources. Prepares required reports and ensures all relevant parties are informed of clients' needs, goals and treatment progress on a timely basis.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field.
  • 2 years progressively responsible social services experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing software.
  • Per DCFS regulations, must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

Therapist

at our Woodstock & Lake Villa, IL locations to provide individual, group, and family therapy to Outpatient, Day Treatment, and/or Residential clients.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related human services field.
  • LCPC or LCSW strongly desired.
  • One or more years of clinical experience with an emphasis in treatment of children, adolescents and families.
