Job Description

Job Summary:

Conducts quality data analysis and clinical decision support for designated system(s).

Responsibilities:
  • Supports measurement and system improvement. Develops quality, safety, reliability and customer satisfaction metrics and analytics.
  • Collaborates on metric development, reporting system design and design and delivery of routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Develops approaches to presenting information including presentations and communications. Supports advance project management, improvement initiatives and tactical decisions/plans.
  • Benchmarks national best practices and makes recommendations for change as appropriate.

Qualifications


Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing.
    • Registered Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Education:
  • Bachelor's Level Degree, Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field required

Work Experience:
  • Three to five years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Experience in handling quality improvement and patient safety data.
  • Clinical, Behavioral Health or Analysis background in healthcare is ideal.
