Job Description

Job Summary:

Leads the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned clinical program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization. Evaluates program and initiatives.
  • Directs all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff. Assigns tasks. Prioritizes and coordinates work.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves and/or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

Qualifications


Education:
  • Master's Level Degree, Master's degree from one of the mental health disciplines required (psychiatric nursing, clinical social work, psychology, ext)
  • Doctorate degree preferred
  • Clinical Licensure preferred

Work Experience:
  • Five years of experience in a direct clinical practice with experience in intensive treatment settings required.
  • Three years of administrative, supervisory, budgeting, and management experience required.
  • Projects and unique department or patient needs will require flexibility as needed around typical work schedule.
  • Additional training or education in the area of business and business management is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets, leading teams toward achievement of quality indicators
  • Strong at team and patient satisfaction and engagement
  • A desire to create clinical programs which meet an ever changing patient landscape of needs and experience with presenting to diverse populations.
