What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and audits cancer-related data from a variety of sources to support quality assurance and quality management processes.
- Develops complex reports, analyses and graphic formulations of data for presentation and distribution.
- Develops quality and utilization indicators for oncology services.
- Works with leadership, clinical staff and a variety of outside accrediting organizations to develop agendas for meetings, quality improvement reporting and accreditation.
What You Will Need
Education:
- Diploma
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
- Associates Degree preferred
- Certified Registrar specializing in Tumors credentialed from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date preferred
- Five years of experience in cancer registry and CoC/ NAPBC accreditation preferred
