Shift: 20 hours/week; day shifts, program runs 9a - 5pm; would include some weekend hours, probably 2 a month

What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to

Performs activity based programs in support of patient care plan.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts assessment of activity needs to meet individual treatment goals and objectives.
• Facilitates and participates in activity-related projects and events.
• Keeps treatment area clean, safe, and organized.
• Performs clerical tasks as assigned.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Masters in Art Therapy is highly desired.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of masters in the arts of art therapy, ability to obtain ATR within three years of hire.
• Experience in Art Therapy setting a plus.
