Customer Service Representative

Near west suburban insurance agency seeks licensed CSR with Medical professional liability experience preferred. Responsible for servicing, retaining, and growing an existing book of business.  Working knowledge of BOP’s, WC, GL, and E&O.  Must have 2 years experience, preferably with agency/broker.

Responsibilities include: selling new products and services to existing clients; evaluating coverages, exposures, and marketing client accounts to insurance carriers;  processing applications, policies, endorsements and certificates; checking policy coverages, endorsements, and rating calculations; monitoring claim activity; resolving policy, coverage and other discrepancies.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of Medical Malpractice insurance experience or similar is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and general insurance software.
