Deublin Company is a leading global manufacturer of Rotating Unions - a mechanical device that allows transfer of pressurized fluid from a stationary source into rotating machinery for heating, cooling or transfer of fluid power.  Our modern, air conditioned manufacturing facility utilizes state of the art multi axis machine tools to produce our parts in a lean manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative performs duties to assist customers, technically and commercially, with the selection and application of company products and services to meet specific customer needs.  This includes, but is not limited to, application support, proper union and slip ring selection, proposal creation and submission, proactive project pursuit, interaction with engineering, design, production, and finance, and participation in customer events.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

•Respond to telephone, electronic, and written communications from customers, distributors, District Managers and Engineering regarding product applications, pricing, and ongoing projects.
•Obtain the necessary application information to be used with the product and analyze and recommend products to meet customer needs.
•Process crossovers from competitors' line of products.
•Prepare and revise price quotations for submittal to customers.
•Proactively follow up on outstanding proposals, generated leads, customer requests, etc. in an effort to drive sales growth objectives of the company.
•Provide a high level of customer support to key OEMs and end users while also proactively servicing high volume / low revenue "C" customers.
•Critical thinking ability to work through difficult customer situations while understanding appropriate time to escalate to District Manager or direct supervisor.
•Process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring commercial compliance with purchase order and company policy.
•Work with established charts or programs in providing customers with product performance information.
•Notify customers of sales terms, product availability and applicable discounts.
•Completely understand Deublin's routes to market and be able to communicate with and refer customers to the appropriate partners as required.
•Possess wide knowledge of product applications and markets, and be able to recommend new products to meet customer needs.
•Communicate with District Managers on a regular basis regarding specific customer applications, orders or particular needs as they arise.
•Contact key accounts and sales leads in order to verify customer information, requests for literature, or quotations.
•Exhibit strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (experience with MAPICS a plus).
•Process requests for return, repair and warranty inspection and maintain credit memos.
•Work with Accounting Department to resolve any credit issues.
•Assist with international shipments.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

•A passion for the selling and customer service environments.
•Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
•Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities. Ability to listen.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
•Ability to think critically and solve problems to prevent reoccurrence.
•Ability to work in a team environment.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
•Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and proactively while applying a high level of business and technical acumen to a variety of situations.

Education and/or Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college/technical school or three to five years related experience; the equivalent combination of education and experience.
