Job Description:

Seeking a qualified project manager whose duties would include: negotiating and executing agreements with subcontractors and suppliers, preparing project schedules, preparing project submittals and attending construction progress meetings. Additional responsibilities would be to monitor project correspondence, generate subcontractor payments, and work with field and office personnel to successfully complete projects.

 

Qualifications:

            Minimum 2 years of experience in the roadway construction industry

            Familiar with IDOT and various municipal specifications

            Experience in HeavyJob

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree

               

Required Skills:

            Proficient in MS Excel, MSWord and HCSS

            Excellent organizational skills

            Ability to meet deadlines

            Ability to work as a team member           

            Good written and oral communication skills

Ability to review and evaluate drawings, specifications, and other deliverables to ascertain the necessary take-offs
