Loan Processing Clerk

Amalgamated Bank of Chicago seeks an individual with experience in loan accounting and loan servicing to process transactions related to customer collateral accounts.

Primary duties include balancing and reconciling loan receivables; processing various items associated with notes and renewals (receipt, verifying information for accuracy, processing and filing); payment processing (commitment fees, interest, escrow, etc.); sending statements and notices on maturing notes; maintaining control over negotiable instruments; assisting bank officers with inquiries and investigations; and balancing note monetary documents.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma plus three (3) years of processing experience using loan, accounting or transactional banking software.  PC (Microsoft Word and Excel aptitude demonstrated through testing), customer service, detail orientation, calculator and communication skilled are required.
