CDW LLC seeks a Lead Application Developer-Integration to design and develop application integration solutions and artifacts at its Vernon Hills, Illinois office; secure and manage Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and partner with the architecture team to lay out the strategic direction for the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB); perform the analysis, design, development, performance tuning, and testing activities for integration solutions; design, build, and maintain SOAP Web Services, REST/JSON services, and MQ-based services; perform hands-on work with REST/SOAP services, building Swagger specs, and managing API traffic flow; perform cluster setup and configuration using WebSphere MQ (WMQ) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB); create and maintain technical design and support documentation; coordinate day-to-day development and maintenance activities for the ESB; design and/or document process models and flows, rules, and solutions; make technical decisions to meet the design goals laid out in product road map and by management; and collaborate with business and project teams to gather requirements and business needs.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Information Technology field plus at least 6 years post-baccalaureate, progressive experience developing and designing integration solutions using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), WebSphere MQ (WMQ), and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
