Progressive Housing, Inc. (PHI)is a 503 c not-for-profit agency that provides residential training and housing for individuals that are developmentally disabled. We have 16-bed ICF homes, CILA homes and three day training facilities throughout Illinois. PHI provides an array of progressive programs designed to promote independence, choice, normalization, and age appropriateness, while preserving their human rights and dignity. With our dedicated and professional staff, we are meeting the needs of people, providing settings, and circumstances, which promote the happiness and well being of our individuals.

Progressive Housing and Careers the trade name for PHI is now accepting applications for dedicated individuals to become part of an energetic and caring team. Responsibilities include helping our individuals with the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, shopping and taking them on outings. You will also help with the objectives in their individual service plans. Position may be full or part-time with weekends required. No experience necessary, but preferred. CNAs welcome.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and comprehend English at an 8th grade level based on standardized testing. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license with a driving record that allows our insurance carrier to approve you as a driver. Must be age 18 or older. Company provided training as a Direct Support Person provided.

We provide a drug free work environment and applicants must pass a drug test and a background check prior to hiring. Applicants with a felony background are not eligible per IDHS rules.
