VILLAGE OF SKOKIE SOCIAL WORKER Full-time Responds to a wide spectrum of requests and needs of residents of Skokie. Provides community outreach, crisis intervention, short-term case management, support services and linkage to social service agencies. Provides information on available government benefits and community resources. Participates in community social service provider networking activities. Provides supervision to student interns and volunteers. Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling or related field required. Three years social work direct service exp preferred. Valid driver's license required. Ability to speak and communicate effectively in more than one language preferred. Must be able to write and maintain accurate records and establish and maintain professional relationships with those needing services, other providers, and the general public. Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suite applications required. Annual salary range: $61,124 -$78,029.
