CROSSING GUARD COORDINATOR -PT VILLAGE OF SKOKIE -POLICE DEPT. Coordinates the Crossing Guard Program including assigning school crossings & assisting w/ crossing issues & requests between school officials & the Police Dept. Must be avail. to work M-F daytime hours. Duties include performing administrative work, data entry, accounts payable, budgeting computations, filing & other clerical tasks. May compose routine correspondence, reports, form letters, and service requests. Also serves as a substitute guard when needed. Must be in good physical condition & able to work in all weather conditions. Must have reliable transportation & be able to report to any intersection in Skokie within 20 minutes. HS Diploma/GED reqd. 1 yr. of general office exp. reqd. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, esp. Word, Excel & Outlook. Must have excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
