Synergy55, Inc., in Schaumburg, IL, seeks a Procure To Pay (PTP) Lead – SAP to support the PTP module functionality and maintenance, which will entail meeting with business leaders to understand and analyze business processes, gather requirements and design enhancement solutions, changing the technical configuration to support business requirements.

Lead the PTP functional team through build, testing and deployment phases of SAP software implementation.

• Meet with business process leaders, consultants and other functional and technical leads to understand business requirements in order to enhance the existing PTP module.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, and testing scripts.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions and gap analysis based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple functional leaders to gain commitment on design decisions.
• Analyze the PTP module’s configuration as it relates to Synergy55 processes.
• Communicate regularly and seamlessly with business leaders and management regarding target goals, measures and status updates.

Validate and streamline the business process for SAP technology.

• Influence business process leaders to adhere to standard SAP functionality, as opposed to making customizations based on business processes.
• Educate stakeholders and project team members on SAP functionality and best practices.
• Confer with the business team to ensure they are adapting to the new functionality and adhering to an 80% standard functionality approach; confirm that the system delivered meets usability requirements and allows for easy adaption of business processes.
• Encourage business users to utilize and adhere to system functionality so that minimal manual interventions are required and more focus can be placed on system support efforts related to value-added enhancements that will support the company’s growth initiatives.

Coordinate business sign offs and SAP deployment strategy.

• Partner with business leaders to achieve alignment on the implementation and deployment approach.
• Mediate in situations where system defects and functionality are disputed.
• Evaluate and address requests for changes and deficits in the current system environment against the business value they provide to ensure delivery of value-added services and products.
• Coordinate the strategic roll out of the SAP system across the organization.

Stabilize processes and leverage SAP software investment.

• Establish release strategy and processes for prioritization of IT work efforts (i.e. support and projects) and coordinate their implementation into production.
• Support business process leads/members of the power user group to develop business cases as they relate to IT project spend requests.
• Develop roadmap of projects based on organizational needs.
• Evaluate technology products and changes in technology that may impact the system and benefit the organization.

Perform job duties using a variety of systems, tools and technologies including ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP FI-AP, and SAP ATP.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management, or closely related field and 5 years post-baccalaureate, progressive SAP system design, implementation, and testing experience with Material Management (MM) module including at least two full life-cycles of SAP implementation.

Up to 25% domestic travel to Company sites required.
