Position Title: Data Architect III

Duties: OSF Healthcare System has an immediate need for Data Architect III in Peoria, Illinois. Lead the design, development, implementation and support of the Enterprise Data Ecosystem to provide analytics to meet the strategic needs of the Ministry. Lead architectural design and management of complex clinical, financial, HR, provider and marketing subject marts in the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Create snowflake/star schema dimensional models. Architect and build BI solutions using best practices for OLAP design, utilizing toolsets including QlikView, SAP Business Objects and Microsoft. Ensure adherence to HIPAA security standards and supporting audit process requirements. Drive Data Governance and master data management processes and maintain data provision routines using Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata. Translate strategic business initiatives into technical solutions to enable advanced analytics processes such as machine learning, predictive modeling and natural language processing. Identify and utilize leading-edge technologies to integrate data from multiple sources into an Enterprise Data Ecosystem. Provide guidance, mentoring and training to less experienced team members. Communicate complex concepts in writing and verbal presentations. Provide project management and technical oversight to assigned projects applying pragmatic and best practices to ensure projects are executed efficiently and completed according to commitments with project sponsors. Design, build and conduct advanced performance tuning for more complex data structures, queries, reports and BI solutions. Establish and monitor data quality standards to ensure data integrity through Teradata, Informatica and QlikView. Provide expertise in big data technologies in a Hadoop ecosystem including Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, Kafka, Pig, Oozie, HBase, Sqoop, Spark, and cloud components such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure. Provide expertise in Python and R.

Minimal Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Electronics Engineering, or related or foreign equivalent degree. Minimum 10 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, of which at least 1 year must be in Healthcare. Minimum of 7 years experience using BI tools such as Cognos, SAP Business Objects, QlikView or Microsoft B. Minimum of 6 years data modeling experience on Erwin or ER Studio; Minimum of 1 year master data management architecture. Must pass background check. EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled
