DLC Management Corporation, one of the nation’s preeminent private retail real estate companies, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at our NW suburban Chicago shopping center. Responsibilities include the following: -Complete basic preventative and repair maintenance work on mechanical, electrical and plumbing related systems in accordance with state and federal standards. -Troubleshoot equipment failures and re-establish building services. -Coordinate and communicate work with outside contractors. -Document inventory of supplies. -Complete reports of maintenance work, inspections, and expenses to center management. -Responds to emergencies via after-hours calls and dispatch as needed. Desired skills and expertise: -High school diploma and/or trade school certificate. -Minimum of 5 years of experience within operations management required. -Strong communication skills. -Customer centric. -Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
