Metalmaster Roofmaster is a large commercial sheet metal and roofing contractor located in McHenry that is seeking a candidate, for an immediate, full time position of Project Accountant.

Responsibilities of Position: Knowledge of collections (AR); Be able to make calls to collect money; Project Set-up; Weekly AIA billings; Weekly financial projections; Manage waivers, change orders, close-out documents; Accounting clerical work; Work with accounting management; Cross-training in other roles.

Qualifications: General; knowledge of the construction industry, is a plus; Good time management is required; Communication skills, verbal and written; Critical thinking and problem solving ability; Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications, as well as advanced computer skills; Knowledge of Accounting programs, such as Vista, QB, and ACT!; Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines; Possess good judgment and attention to detail; Energetic and positive attitude.

Hours (Full-time): Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Salary: depends on qualifications & previous compensation history will be considered.
