Job Description
Job Summary:
Locates and notifies responsible parties of delinquent accounts to collect payment.
Responsibilities:
- Receives and posts payments to proper accounts.
- Prepares statements and reports for credit department.
- Initiates payment plans or collection procedures against responsible party. May refer accounts to collection agency.
- Maintains record of collections and status of accounts.
Qualifications
Education:
- HS or Equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience:
- Six months of medical office experience preferred. Customer service experience prefered.
