What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Directs and oversees information systems activities and resources.
You will:
- Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the technological, clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares departmental budgets and ensures the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Directs and evaluates all departmental activities including research, design and development of new technologies, service level determination and complaint management.
- Lead and oversee day to day operations of IT applications support group for AMITA Health Medical Group.
- Be responsible for strategic initiatives in collaboration with AMITA Health Medical Group leadership.
What You Will Need
Education:
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, healthcare administration, or business required Master's degree preferred
Work Experience:
- Ten years of experience in senior IT leadership in a healthcare setting required. Previous experience in a senior IT capacity within a healthcare system inclusive of hospital and ambulatory setting required.
- Preferred: experience with EPIC and Athena
