Staff Engineer

G2 Consulting Group, LLC is a growing geotechnical and environmental engineering firm and is seeking a full time staff engineer for our Lake Zurich, IL office.  Candidates must have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with course work emphasis in the geo-sciences.  Recent graduates and those with up to 4 years of work experience within the field will be considered.   

The preferred Candidate should have passed the FE exam and be on the path to taking the professional engineering exam (PE). 

Principal duties will consist of:

• report preparation
• laboratory testing
• construction observation
• testing within the geotechnical engineering services group

Will also work with contractors, and interpret designs and specification as required. 

Travel and use of personal vehicle may be required if company vehicle is in use. 

Candidate may be required to work overtime or weekend days if needed.
