What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, tests, maintains and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment and systems as scheduled or needed.
- Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external trades.
- Inspects and tests equipment.
- Documents and maintains records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
- Ability to travel to other AMITA sites when needed
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- HS or Equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2-3 years experience required. Specialized training in one or more of the trades preferred.
