The Congregation of St. Joseph, located on Ogden Avenue in La Grange Park is a not-for-profit community of women religious, associates and lay staff. 

We have an immediate FULL TIME position in our Food Service area. 

We are looking for a qualified candidate who will assist in all dietary functions including meal prep and set up; washing dishes, pots and pans; and the cleanliness of the Food Service areas. 

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to follow oral and written directions;
• Correctly prepare, set up and maintain all menu items for serving table;
• Ability to work alone to maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply clean kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans;
• Demonstrate safety rules in kitchen and other areas including correctly operating food service equipment;
• Maintain sanitized and clean work areas in kitchen, scullery and serving areas.

Qualified candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

One year cooking and sanitation experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
