SUMMARY
The Coffee Bar Assistant receives payment for sales of food and beverages and/or prepares food and beverages purchased, depending upon assignment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receives payment from Coffee Bar customers for sales of food and beverage.
2. Verifies and reconciles cash on report.
3. Completes and balances daily cashier reports; makes daily deposits.
4. Updates menu board.
5. Monitors food and supplies needed for daily operation of assigned area.
6. Assists in department operation, i.e. provides a safe, clean environment and reports variances to coordinator; orients new staff, and fosters a team approach in daily work activities.
7. Picks up a van with coffee bar supplies at the Medical Center and delivers to New Lenox site as assigned.

   Education and/or Experience
   High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one month food service experience preferred.

   Current Illinois driver's license in good standing, if necessary.
