SUMMARY
The Switchboard Operator relays incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls through use of the switchboard.

- Uses private branch exchange (PBX) switchboard to connect interoffice and house calls.
- Answers, screens, and routes outside calls.
- Supplies information to callers and records messages.
- Keeps record of calls placed and toll charges.
