RECRUITER

Position Description:

A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.

Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Essential Functions:

  1. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  2. Prepare recruitment materials and past jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  3. Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  4. Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  5. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  6. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  7. Help Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  8. Monitor and apply Human Resources recruiting best practices
  9. Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  10. Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  11. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. May occasionally life office supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Microsoft Office experience
  3. Proven work experiences as a Recruiter (either an in-house or a staffing agency recruiter)
  4. Human Resources background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
  5. Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
  6. Familiarity with Human Resources databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  7. Hands-on experience with recruiting software
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Strong decision-making skills
  10. Nuclear industry experience (preferred)
