The City of Joliet is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Planner. This position performs advanced level planning duties involving coordinating projects, reviewing land-use cases, and providing support to various committees, boards and other departments, while ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in planning or related field or minimum of 4 years' experience in municipal planning or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience in the planning profession is required. AICP certification desirable. Candidates must be technological proficient and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and establish residency in the City of Joliet corporate limits within eighteen (18) months from date of hire.

Salary range: $71,566 - $118,156.
