Recruiter

Responsible for full lifecycle recruiting with the heavy emphasis on sourcing and screening candidates for hiring managers. Posts approved vacant positions, and identifies most appropriate recruitment sources to secure a qualified and diverse pool of candidates utilizing internal communication channels, the internet, various job boards, social media, various social service organizations and agencies, professional networks and other sources. Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities; measures performance against process requirements, addressing improvement areas to close gaps.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management or related field.
  • Two or more years of demonstrated successful recruitment with knowledge of all full life-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking and assessing candidate skills.
  • Intermediate Excel/spreadsheet skills; Beginner to Intermediate Word skills; beginner PowerPoint skills; solid Internet research skills.
  • Proficiency using an ATS with an HRIS system in talent acquisition.
  • Ability to understand the organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of HR policy; working knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands and accept constructive feedback.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information and function with minimal supervision.
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Requires competency in customer focus with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
