Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director of Transportation

Northern Illinois Food Bank is seeking a dependable overnight driver to pick up rescued food from our partnering Starbucks locations each night.
This is an exciting opportunity to work towards ending hunger in our community that does not require a commercial driver’s license. Drivers will operate vehicles in a safe manner, collect food donations from locations along a route, inspect, count, and verify product, and ultimately, deliver it to feeding programs that benefit hungry people.
Drivers will also maintain vehicle logs, product documentation, and provide support to a variety of warehouse functions when not on route.
This is a great fit for someone looking for overnight and potentially weekend work. Drivers will work five days per week starting as early as 8:30pm. Divers are cross-trained on multiple routes to ensure coverage for vacations and absences
