What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Assists in the provision of rehabilitative services.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with patient treatments as directed.
- Prepares treatment areas for therapy and maintains in safe and sanitary condition. Maintains equipment used in therapy interventions.
- Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Completes non-clinical and clerical tasks as assigned.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Diploma
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
Work Experience:
- Previous patient care experience in a field-of-expertise preferred.
- Associate must have flexible weekly schedule that allows coverage during week and on weekends. Open to having a schedule from 0 - 40 hours per week.
- Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining equipment safety logs, assisting therapists with patient care, ensuring cleanliness of treatment areas, scheduling patients, and other office related tasks.
- Candidates must possess solid computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to learn patient scheduling system in Hospital-wide electronic medical record. Additional desired candidate characteristics include attention to detail, exceptional customer service, ability multitask and strong team work.
