This position is responsible for researching issues, analyzing data, proposing solutions, and generating ad-hoc reports. Additionally, this position is responsible for performing small configuration, scripting, and development efforts as assigned by the department manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Research support tickets. Create and maintain support documentation. Write queries and create ad-hoc reports via Access, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2. Create and maintain scripts associated with report distribution and document imaging. Create, maintain, and support tasks in the automation system. Become knowledgeable of the different company systems and applications utilizing reference materials and training within the department. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent credentials such as certifications in related field. 0 to 3 years of work experience related to application development. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with great attention to detail. Ability to multi-task effectively and work with minimal direction. Proficiency in query writing and creation of ad-hoc reports via Access, Excel, and SQL Server. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: VB, Java or C#. Possess sharp analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to interact and work effectively in a team environment. Minimal travel to branch network and/or training facility may be necessary. Must be available to work Monday through Friday with the ability to participate in a shift rotation of approximately one Saturday a month. |
