Planning Manager I - Network Security

Planning Manager I - Network Security - ENG001112

The Planning Manager I will have an advanced understanding of executing technical trials. This Engineer will be the technical project manager for all technical trials as well as various projects for the Advanced Technology team. Critical responsibilities also include vendor evaluations and to provide Sr. Leadership with recommendations/solutions resulting from the evaluations. This role will be a key member of the Advanced Technology team who will interface with all levels the engineering department.

• Lead the developing and execution of test cases

• Vendor evaluations

• Provide Sr. Leadership with recommendations/solutions resulting from evaluations

• Technical project management of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Quality documentation

• Evaluate vendor capabilities for products and services

• Take active participation during the RFP process and trial phase

• Lead communication and information management with Cross functional teams

• Principal investigator and problem solver

  • B.S. in Engineering
  • 5-8 years professional experience in cellular or wireless telecommunication
  • 2 years system engineering and or software development
  • Solid knowledge of wireless technologies and IP required
  • Status Reporting experience required
  • Demonstrated project planning skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of team dynamics
  • Demonstrated experienced in the creation of external release quality documentation; ability to develop such documents concurrent with other job responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of and applies principles, practices and procedures of wireless com
