Asst-Physical Therapy-IHR - Day Rehab - PRN,Day - AMITA Health: Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital Rehabilitation Hospital - Elk Grove Village,IL

• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Licensure in the State of Illinois required. Prefer at least 2-3 years experience with adult neurologic populations.
• This is an "as needed" position for the Day Rehab program, which operates Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend rotation in inpatient rehab and/or acute care is required, one weekend day per month

What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Conducts medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Responsibilities:

• Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
• Documents treatment interventions given.
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Current Illinois License to practice as an Physical Therapist Assistant.

Education:

• Diploma
  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:

• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
