SUMMARY
The Quality Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in identifying and monitoring RMC clinical outcomes and maintain established measurements. Supports quality improvement activities throughout RMC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops meaningful and pertinent performance improvement reports and presentations for a wide variety of organizational audiences.
- Coordinates/Performs data collections, data entry, validation, analysis and reporting.
- Serves as an expert resource for all organizations units/departments in developing and presenting their performance improvement efforts.
- Provides expert knowledge and education in the use of pertinent software systems.
- Actively works to facilitate compliance with all regulatory requirement, including CMS, JCAHO, and IDPH.
- Assists in the evaluation of financial and quality outcomes and the effectiveness of patient care delivery systems through measurement of quality and cost analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Registered Nurse required.
Knowledge of healthcare information systems required.
Knowledge and experience in statistical analysis utilizing pertinent tools and techniques required.
Excellent written and verbal skills required.
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in a healthcare related field preferred.
Clinical experience and knowledge of performance improvements concepts preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, Meditech.
