There are three (3) Program Manager positions.
Filling of these positions is contingent upon finalization of the award.

General Summary

The Program Manager will provide effective site leadership and oversight on an ACE Program location in order to implement the Advancing Careers and Employment (ACE) that will serve overall 563 adults 25 and older released from incarceration within 180 days of enrollment. ACE locations will be in the West & South Sides of Chicago, IL and Davenport, Iowa.

ACE services will include opportunities for employment and/or education; maintain long-term employment; ability to sustain a stable residence; and, successfully address substance abuse issues and mental health needs, as applicable, through partnerships with local programs. ACE will integrate: community-based reentry; case management practice; trauma-informed approaches; and, workforce development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team meets its obligation to the funder in all aspects of the contract.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure that any assistance is relevant and timely.
  • Partner with local entities to match client needs to available resources.
  • Lead strategic planning to ensure that any underperformance is noted and resolved.
  • Develop and report to funder monthly and quarterly performance.
  • Ensure performance against fiscal plan.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated success in meeting funder commitments
  • Ability to work collaboratively internal and external to the organization
  • Ability to work across and sometimes competing deadlines
  • A valid driver’s license is required as well as access to a (reliable) vehicle is required for travel.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/management, public administration or related field.
  • 4-5 years’ successful progressive experience in management, project design, start-up and multi-site operations including successful experience with capacity-building.
  • Successful experience in leading, managing, and coaching program staff in remote-site operations.
  • Experience in research, data collection, and/or data analysis.
