Customer Service Rep


The Customer Service Representative is responsible for acting as the liaison between our clients and their customers. They will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with filing claims, answering benefit questions, and providing them with appropriate resources needed to reach the desired resolution.

Core Job Responsibilities (8-10 key job duties)

  • Receives high volume consumer calls and answers questions regarding product or program benefits, coverage, and claims process
  • Gathers appropriate information and details to understand the customer's request or concern; resolves issues or advises on appropriate course of action
  • Enters or verifies customer information and/or program data into the computer system
  • Determines the appropriate solution, educates callers on policies, warranties, services and procedures
  • Documents solution and other information into the computer system
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by remaining focused on the call and displaying enthusiasm, sincerity and professionalism when responding to the customer's requests and questions. Acts as a (card) member advocate.
  • Maintains working knowledge of program by studying program materials and participating in training activities.
  • Partners with Adjusters, Team Leads or Supervisors to appropriately manage escalated calls
