Continuing Education Assistant
The Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS) division of the American Library Association is looking for a part-time assistant with excellent customer service skills and an interest in distance learning technology to assist our Program Officer with our successful continuing education program.
The ALCTS is comprised of nearly 4,000 members from across the United States and 42 countries from around the globe.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the ALCTS Program Officer, Continuing Education, this position provides part-time administrative support for ALCTS including set-up and management of webinars and web based courses. Assist in conference preparation, coordination of speakers and program planners. Create and update content on Web site. Will also provide support on special projects as needed.Requirements
One to two years minimum work experience in an office environment is required. College graduate or current student with some post-secondary education/training preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Self-starter, efficient, productive, ability to work independently and learn new software. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with distance learning software (such as Moodle, GoToWebinar, Adobe Connect Pro), and social media preferred.Work Hours: Temporary, Part-Time, 15-17 hours per week (M-F), Wednesdays are mandatory. The final work schedule can be negotiated upon hire.
