Clinical Staff Pharmcist

Clinical Staff Pharmacists performs drug distribution services utilizing Meditech operational/clinical modules and Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets. Ensures patient safety and optimal medication therapy in a cost effective manner. Provides patient care services including but not limited to antimicrobial stewardship, anticoagulation dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, nutrition support, drug monitoring and patient counseling. Provides clinical services in various locations throughout the hospital in addition to routine inpatient pharmacy operation, participates in multidisciplinary rounding for telemetry, ICU and medical surgical patients and serves as preceptor for pharmacy students from various colleges.

Job Requirements
Requires:

  • Graduate of ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in State of Illinois.
  • Prior experience with various age groups preferred.
  • Experience as Pharmacist in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
