Client Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Symmetry Client Manager (CM) leads a team of Colleagues in delivering contracted services to a set of Clients. The CM has the primary responsibility for the delivery of Symmetry services including the organization of technical efforts. The CM will be the primary contact to our Client’s management team with responsibility for communicating plans, status reporting, coordinating resources, setting expectations, resolving conflicts and overseeing deliverables. This is a management position requiring skills of a Project Manager as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Previous personnel management experience

•Demonstrated ability to perform technical project management

•Demonstrated ability to scope and plan Basis projects (including creation of detailed project plans)

•Demonstrated ability to successfully manage interpersonal relationships •Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members

•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

•Previous experience in conflict resolution

•Demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical personnel

•3 years consulting experience DUTIES

•Client Management

•Responsible for overall Client satisfaction and ownership of the relationship.

•Operate as a trusted advisor related to operational and strategic planning of services for the Client.

•1st level management escalation point for Clients

•Participate in regular meetings with Clients to build relationships, discuss delivery of services, improve communications and set expectations.

•Focus on maintaining existing Clients while integrating new Clients as needed. •Contribute in the development of Client proposals and SOWs prepared by the Sales team and Solution Architects.

•Set appropriate expectations with Clients for services to be delivered. Responsible for accurate delivery of daily team activities and technical projects

•Articulate and disseminate the ‘Symmetry Mission, Vision and Values’.

•Identify deficiencies within the team and develop/enact plans to resolve them

•1st level management escalation point for Team Members

•Coordinate team schedule to ensure coverage for all deliverables

•Coordinate 24 by 7 production support for appropriate Clients

•Ensure the mentoring/training needs of Project Managers and Consultants are being addressed: work management skills, soft skills, technical skills mentoring, etc.

•Maintain and/or improve overall colleague satisfaction, attitude and morale.

•Perform yearly performance review of all colleagues, while maintaining colleague supporting documentation quarterly.

•Symmetry Internal Management

•Perform duties of Project Manager as required for Clients or internal Symmetry projects.

•Partner with other Project Managers as required on Client projects or internal Symmetry projects.

•Responsible for coordinating, managing and maintaining delivery of services with IT for those services and products that require both departments.

•Participate in corporate improvement initiatives and other duties assigned.
