Norwegian American Hospital has an exciting opportunity working with our team on our Care-A-Van, our state of the art mobile pediatric clinic.

The Nurse Coordinator job is to help improve the health of students serviced by the Norwegian American Hospital Care-a-Van(s). They will assist in coordination of services between schools/daycares and the Care-a-van. The Coordinator will go to the schools before the site visit, create a plan for what the students need so that the school is ready for the Care-a-Van. They will also help schools/families/students connect with resources in the community, and will make follow up calls for those students needing follow-up testing and/or who are lacking healthcare resources (PCP, dentist, insurance, etc). He/she will also be expected to be in compliance with hospital training and education. Spanish speaking and writing strongly preferred.

Job Requirements

• IL licensure as either RN or LPN
• current CPR certification
• a minimum of 1 year pediatric experience in an ambulatory setting
