Brand Marketer – Digital/Events

Five generations later, the Reed family still runs the company, overseeing a steadily expanding international portfolio of magazines, websites, exhibitions, conferences and events. 

William Reed Business Media Inc., the US subsidiary of the B2B publisher WRBM Group is the market leader in business and scientific news dedicated to the Food, Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical industries and is currently looking for a Brand Marketer to join the team based in Chicago, Illinois.

Key responsibilities & tasks:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be contributing to marketing actions and focusing on the promotion of our brands, events and websites in the United States:

Branding/Communication online and offline: Implement different actions to increase brand awareness of the websites, and manage several communication projects, including our expanding US events portfolio.

Offline:

Participation at trade shows: project management, planning, supervising marketing communication assistant for all operational tasks

Organization of Clients’ events

Online:

Creation of communication tools: mail shots, landing pages

Creation of flyers and brochures using creative tools

  • Partnerships management: Negotiate partnerships with key trade shows, associations
  • Sales support: Help the sales team in developing documents presenting our services to clients: media kits, rate cards, Power point presentations, brochures, videos…
  • Market research: Analyze the market, look at competition, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, and define objectives for growth
  • Content Management: Animate the different websites communities via content tools: newsletters, blogs, social media…
  • You will be collaborating with several departments such as sales, editorials, production or IT

Key skills and qualifications required for role:

  • Sales, marketing or communication graduate, you have a very high level of English (are self-directed, high energy, multi-tasking.
  • You are passionate by the Internet and used to working on computers
  • You are highly organized, autonomous, and have good communication skills
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HTML and Photoshop/Illustrator
