Quality Tech / Leader

The position is responsible for all quality concerns, both internal and external. Must be able to read and understand blueprints.

Translate metric to decimals, use all measuring equipment and be able to teach other the proper use and care of them.

 

Required Qualifications:

•          Knowledge of 1^st Articles and PPAP’S
•          Quality as related to a manufacturing environment
•          Knowledge and use of all available gages
  •          Ability to grow as our quality departments grows

 

Responsibilities:

•          To insure parts are being manufactured to our quality standards
•          Translate all metric prints to decimal
•          Put checks on all first time runs and follow through to insure the quality of parts
•          Work with plant floor leaders on corrective actions to insure preventive actions
•          Make sure print and rev match purchase order
•          Inspect, clean and calibrate all gages on the floor
•          Teach proper use and care of all floor calipers
•          Teach blue print reading when needed
