POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and supporting business-changing enterprise solutions with .NET, SharePoint 2013 and other leading-edge technologies.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Design and develop portal content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third party products. 
•  Integrate non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as directed.
• Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing web application solutions. 
• Provide application development and support expertise to end users and other members of the IT applications team.
• Conduct research on emerging Web, SharePoint development tools and present findings to IT leadership team. 
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades as directed for a variety of applications including, but not limited to enterprise wide applications.
• Design and develop integration solutions between enterprise wide, custom built and other applications. 
• Provide end user support for off-the-shelf and in-house software packages. 
• Participate in software evaluations and selections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and ability acquired through work experience. 
• Experience working with a variety of applications and technologies including SharePoint, .NET and SQL Server. 
• Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels and to develop successful relationships within an organization 
• Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
• Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language. 
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed. 
• Keen attention to detail.
