What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Supervises the daily activities of Volunteer Services.
Responsibilities:
  • Identifies volunteer opportunities. Plans and schedules volunteer representative services within departments requesting volunteer assistance.
  • Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Develops and implements effective strategies to recruit volunteers.
  • Provides orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff and volunteers. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assists with quality improvement initiatives for the volunteer department. Maintains records and reports on volunteer services.

What You Will Need
Education:
  • HS or Equivalent
    • High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred
Work Experience:
  • Five years of experience in customer service field required.Three years of experience in hospital setting preferred.
