- Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision.
- Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services.
- Oversees performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- One or more of the following:
- Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Clinical Counselor obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Counselor specializing in Addiction credentialed from the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IADAPCA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required or eligible for certification within one year.
- Counselor obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Counselor specializing in Chemical Dependency obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Provider.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education:
- Diploma
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
