What You Will Do

Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments.
- Develops and implements a program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization.
- Evaluates the function and structure of assigned areas to best determine the allocation and utilization of services and budgets appropriately according to strategic goals.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred
- 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
