Medical Asst - PC FM Plainfield Rt 59 Prac - Full-Time,Day - Corwin Med Care 15728 - Plainfield,IL

General schedule is: 4 10 hours days two days 7am-5pm and two 9am-7pm, Alternating weekends every 5th which is Friday from 3pm-7pm and on Saturday 8am-1pm

What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Medical Assistant.

Education:
  • Diploma
    • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:
  • Family Practice experience is preferred
  • Comfortable giving injections
