SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Intake provides intake services (admission, transfer services, crisis management, psychiatric assessment, case management, discharge planning/disposition, psychiatric management services) for the assigned department or unit. Provides appropriate patient referrals to the psychiatrists and other physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required in psychology, counseling or related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required upon hire and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required within 6 weeks of hire.
Social Work or Counseling licensure preferred.
